Why are garage door rollers different? Garage doors can come with different types of wheels or rollers depending on the specific design of the garage door. These wheels are an essential part of the garage door system as they help the door move smoothly along the tracks and prevent it from jamming or getting stuck. Garage door wheels or rollers are typically rated for weight. The weight rating refers to the maximum weight that the wheel can support while still functioning properly.
